I read the book cover to cover, and really was amazed at the number of hints and tips contained in the book. I loaned the book to my son, who had the same reaction. It is a very well written book that is not only interesting but very easy to read, and easy to find these suggestions later. The value of the suggestions contained within the book far exceed the cost of the book!Book Review: The best of the best!

This is the only book you'll need to learn the ins and outs of the iphone....it is detailed, consise and easy read. A must for those who want to take full advantage of the iphone and all its capabilities. I did look through a few other books but this was the best all round book.....easy to pick up and put down and pick up again! I've used The Missing Manual on a need to know basis and it's perfect. The little things I've wanted to fix all have solutions. If you want to read a section, the pictures and explanations are clear and the author has a sense of humor which is important when dealing with the potential frustration of electronics. As usual in the missing manual series, an excellent book covering all aspects in great detail and providing many usefull tricks and tips (even on things Apple wouldn't want you to know). Many colorful illustrations on semi-glossy paper. One minus: it deals with one of the first software version of the iPhone, so the latest featurs are not covered.
