Book Review: Not just for studying

I have really been enjoying the notes, maps and cross references. "Study" sounded, well, kind of studious, and I just wanted to read. But the extra material helps fill in my blanks and make reading the Bible more interesting. If you enjoy watching things like the History Channel which help give you the extra detail, then this is the Bible you want to pick up to read.Oh yeah, I guess the paper is a bit thin, but it's a fair trade to pack so much into something that does not need wheels.

This is a good Bible with good study notes, maps, mini concordance and more. I have used this for 6 years, and it has stood up well to constant daily use. I recently bought an NASB Life Application study Bible which I like better for the Life Application study notes, but the regular study notes are also good and useful. Recommended for anyone doing any serious personal Bible study, a good supplement to other translations and Bible software.Book Review: The best Bible the world has ever seen!

This bible is the most accurate and authentic study Bible I have ever seen. And I've owned a few in my past. I't covers postively EVERYTHING! From achitecture to geology ... And of course it covers the life of Jesus and the patriarch's in a language we can all understand. May Gods grace be with those who wrote this Bible and with you all!Book Review: Excellent value!

This is the 3rd of these that I have purchased. I got one for myself, 2 for 2 of my daughters, and we are all very happy with them. The type is very easy to read, the intros and footnotes are informative and I find it to be very sturdy, as well, as it gets carried around quite a bit. This study Bible has a thorough introduction and outline of about 3 pages for each book of the Bible. It has many maps and other illustrations. Commentary and notes are about equal in volume to the actual bible passages and are very helpful in understanding the text in relation to the times that they were written.
