Book Review: True Crime, Yes... Astrology, No

I, like most of the other readers, found this book to be far too simplistic in its 'attempt' at astrologically profiling violence... I am especially disappointed in the editor's obvious failure to know anything of astrology, else they would have sent this back to Dana Holliday as a 'first draft' in astrological interpretation and explanation... However, I WAS pleased to find in the appendix that Dana uses the tool of Astrodynes to chart the 'power' of the planets, signs, and houses in his/her delineations... As a biography of the criminals, Don Lasseter delivers a well-written, albeit brief, synopsis of these folk- their childhood history, heinous doings, and subsequent fate upon capture... Alas, I purchased the book for the 'astrology' part of it and was, in a word, left wanting... I am hopeful for a future work by Dana Holliday that discusses more intensely, and intricately, the in-depth energetic patterns of violence in astro-charting, as I do believe Dana possesses the interest and fascination for astro-psychopathology... All in all, I would have to say that this book, astrologically speaking, only serves to whet one's appetite, all-the-more, for the serious, studious, and literate consideration this 'darker side of life' is entitled to receive...
