I got this for my son that loves orchestra instruments. It is a beautifully illustrated book and is a joy to read. I highly recommend the book. There is also a reading rainbow video out there that reads this book and interviews kids that play instruments, that it excellent.
Summary of Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin (Caldecott Honor Book)

Ten instruments take their parts one by one in a musical performance."The STRINGS all soar, the REEDS implore, / The BRASSES roar with notes galore. / It's music that we all adore. / It's what we go to concerts for."
