One of the challenges of Web Services is the ability to reuse Web Service components and address lower-levels of data integration, such as matching data formats and the underlying data structures. The critical problem with existing approaches is that most enterprise systems that need to be integrated, such as SAP, provide schema rather than compiled objects for their interfaces, and so there is a need for a middle-layer to move between the schema and the SOAP message layer. The Infravio Web Services Management System (WSMS) provides a foundation-level architecture for Web Services development, deployment, and management. The Infravio WSMS provides a model for component re-use, code generation, and normalization of functionality through a standards-based, rather than single-vendor, platform-based approach to Web Services management.General Books
