I don't put too much into bad reviews, and apparently this book got a lot of them. I have been reading James Patterson novels for the past 12 years and I would honestly say that despite the bad reviews I loved this book. It drew me in within the first 100 pages and kept me pushing to the end with that "I have to know what is going on" feeling until the last word was read, all the while leaving me feeling very detached from the real world. I encourage you to exercise the right to think for yourselves, and if you are not sure whether or not to spend the money on it, go to the library.Book Review: Hogwash...To All The Negative Reviews!

I quite enjoyed this book and I'm certainly glad that I actually read the book before reading the reviews. Had life not intruded I'd have finished the book in one sitting. However, I did finish it in one day. My only complaint is that the story ended...I wanted to keep reading.
Read the book, not these absurb reviews!
This is one of those J.P. books that will have you running out in your pajamas to buy another one, which I did.

OK, I'm going to disagree with everyone here. I couldn't put this book down! I guess it's because I love anything to do with the supernatural. for christians the ending is fantastic. It's another view of hell, and life after death. I LOVED it, and I search for good books because I have such a hard time finding them!Book Review: Couldn't put it down
