Book Reviews of You Can Heal Your LifeBook Review: Wonderfully Healing Summary: 5 StarsThis book just jumped out at me. It is so healing and refreshing. If you are on the path for Mind, Body & Soul, this book is a winner!!!
Book Review: The wrong book to look at Summary: 1 StarsBuy How To Find Yourself and Your Best Match Socionics by Rod Novichkov.
This book, you wasted your money on, tells you that all your physical flaws are do to a disorder you may have in the way you think. How sad! Don't you want something positive that actually acknowledges you for who you are instead of pointing out everything about you you should be fixing?
No amount of this book's receips will cure you of your acne (medicine and a good diet can).
Isn't the whole purpose of this book to fix who you are so you can be happy for yourself and for those around you? Well you'll be too busy fixing rather then just being happy. Rod Novichkov's books shows you who you are and how to find happiness, truly, at last, a book that has come to humanity's aid.
Book Review: Powerful - Life Changing Summary: 5 StarsThis book is a must have. This is our first Louise Hay book and we will read more. My husband and I are reading it together - chapter by chapter - discussing what we learn and what we've observed about each other. It is a easy read with very powerful points. Our lives are changing thanks to Louise and a new way of thinking.
READ IT!
Book Review: Dangerous message Summary: 2 StarsI think Louise Hay has the right idea but the wrong message.
The 1st chapter titled 'What i believe' is just Louise noting her personal opinions which some readers may disagree with, i know i did and so did a couple of other people who read this book. I for one do not agree with a couple of her beliefs especially the belief about that fact that we chose our parents, no one chooses abusive parents. I'm shocked that Louise who has experienced abuse in her life would put such a damaging statement in her book.To say that we manifest everything in our lives with the thoughts we think is ridiculous. Yes we do choose our cheating partners and disloyal friends and rubbish boring jobs and sometimes we see the signs or we hate our jobs and complain complain complain but we dont get up and leave but no one chooses to be struck with breast cancer or a disability.
I think Louise Hays books should be read carefully because some of the material is very damaging and dangerous.
I would highly recommend 'Feal the fear and do it anyway' by Susan Jeffers, it is a fantastic book for anyone who is holding back on changing any aspect of their lives especially their career.
Book Review: An excellent read Summary: 5 StarsThis is a wonderful book if you're looking for a simple and effective way to heal both physically and emotionally. I would also suggest a just published book, "Thinking Your Way to Better Health" by Dr. Andrew Goliszek as another great source for health and self-healing.
