Book Reviews of Yoga In BedBook Review: Stiff in the morning? Summary: 4 Stars
This has some great exercises in it. Some I already knew and some I didn't. The ones I didn't are really good, however, I never really thought about doing them in bed and now I get them done as before I would get up and never get around to them and to say the least, the surface is a lot better. They have become a must for me every day, be it at night or morning. If I do them at night its easier to get out of bed in the morning, if I do them in the morning I have a great day. It's a great little book and I have had better days since I bought it.
Book Review: I had so much fun with this book Summary: 4 Stars
I'm trying not to take myself so seriously, and this was the perfect introduction for me to yoga. We should all learn to laugh at ourselves more. Enjoy.
Book Review: Yoga First and Last Summary: 4 Stars
Wake up with yoga or fall asleep after yoga--both equally appealing and definitely facilitated by this book.
Book Review: I like Yoga Nap better Summary: 3 Stars
Compared to yoga nap, these illustrations are kind of distracting, the lady looks stoned & there are lots of bright colors everywhere. Yoga Nap has clear line drawings. The asanas in Yoga in Bed looked wayy to easy, like, stretch your arms over your head...Yoga Nap has ideas that could actually deepen a yoga practice & shows how to use straps & bolsters to hold a position & almost take a nap while your muscles stretch out. YogaNap: Restorative Poses for Deep Relaxation
Book Review: Lousy little yoga book Summary: 2 Stars
Not expensive, but not worth much either. Ultimately, IMHO, doing asanas in bed is a bad idea--much better to do poses on a firm surface, i.e., the floor.
