Book Reviews of Wishful DrinkingBook Review: Good for multiple laughs Summary: 5 Stars
I picked this up and began laughing almost at the get-go. It's a quick read that lets you know your own messed up family isn't so bad after all. I respect Carrie Fisher's work - particularly her writing but most respect is for the ownership she has on her life.
Book Review: Quick funny read. Summary: 5 Stars
I laughed outloud (or aloud?) a lot when reading this. She gives readers a view into her crazy ina way that makes you feel like she ahs the same crazy we all have, well she might have a tad more, but you love her for it! Shorter book-quick read.
Book Review: Carrie Fisher "Wishful Drinking" Summary: 5 Stars
This book is both funny and interesting. Carrie has the ability to find humor in painful situations and her experiences have been both facinating and enjoyable to read about. I can't wait to read her other books! She is a really gifted writer!
Book Review: Wishful Drinking Summary: 5 Stars
This book is candid, real, and reads as if Carrie Fisher were reading it to you. I wish I had seen her show that she based this book on, but this is a great second. I highly recommend it to anyone with an open mind and a raw sense of humor.
Book Review: You Either Get it or You Don't, and If You Do, You Laugh. Summary: 5 Stars
I just finished reading Carrie Fisher's new book "Wishful Drinking" in a record 24 hours (for me). I loved it. I can count on one hand the books that I have actually laughed aloud at and her's is one of them. I highly recommend it.
