I checked this book out at the library because I liked the style of artwork. Even my mother (who is not an animal person) loved this book! I had to buy it,even though my youngest has almost outgrown these books.
Summary of Wish Come True Cat
A little girl named Holly lives in a house that has a front door with a cat flap. But poor Holly doesn't have cat. One night, Holly makes a wish upon a star. She wishes for a kitten, but instead she gets a big surprise. It's a crash at her bedroom window sill?and gazing through the glass, she finds herself looking at the biggest, scruffiest cat she's ever seen in her life. "It's a mistake!" cries Holly, but Tom, the scruffy old cat, just gives her a big, crooked smile. She shoos him away, but Tom keeps coming back, day after day. He jumps around, and shows off, and follows wherever Holly goes. He's determined to become her one and only wish-come-true cat.
