Carolyn's insight as to why we as individuals let the pressures and problems we encounter affect both our physical and emotional well-being, is a unique, eye-opening experience. Each person is the product of his or her past experience, but we have the choice not to dwell on that past and let it rule our present lives. Instead, we have the power to overcome the "ills" which we have experienced and put them behind us. To say that those who have been through childhood or other types of trauma, shouldn't read this book is stating that you completely missed the point. The victim role can prohibit one from seeing things clearly, i.e., as a victim. If you know and understand the body of work that is Carolyn Myss, getting out of the "woundology" state is a key point in her work.Book Review: Fantastic !!

This is a book that you read a little, process the information, underline and highlight. I love this book. It is a hard look at how we take our wounds and parade them around through our thoughts and speech in daily life. Without fluff and very directly she teaches you how to regain your life. This book is direct and matter of fact. This is not the soft fluffy approach.
