Book Review: Interesting cookbook
Summary: 4 Stars
I have mixed thoughts on this cookbook. While some recipes, especially the unique batters using club soda are very good, several other recipes are not up to a 4 or 5 star level. The white sauce recipe is very thin and needed serious adjustment and the Crepe Suzanne is far too strong flavored, ruining the addition of lemon and orange flavoring and rind. I continue to test the recipes, with caution, hoping to find some 5 star recipes.A good effort in this book but not proofed enough to suit me.
