Book Review: A Friendship Tested, A Love Eternal Summary: 5 Stars
Have you ever had a friend you cannot part with? This is how Willy feels about his hunting hounds in Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. In the deep Ozarks Willy and his hounds experience the struggles and triumphs of life through first-hand experience. Many evils in the mountains test the partnership, but they trudge through these trials.
This book is a realistic fiction piece with a theme of tests and triumph.
This is one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read. I say this due to the book's crafty writing. Wilson Rawls depicts the mountain life with great detail. For example, he describes the mountain trees flowing in the wind dusted by frost. This text is very emotional and I would recommend it for higher level readers. However, anyone who reads it will fall in love with the characters due to their shared love. A group of friends will have their friendship brought closer if they all read this book.
Book Review: DEFINITILY a 5 star book!!! Summary: 5 Stars

Definitely a 5 Star Book!
Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls is a novel that takes place in the Ozark Mountains in Oklahoma during the Great Depression. Some of the major characters are the following Billy, Billy's dad, Billy's grandfather, Old Dan and Little Ann. An example of an internal conflict is when Billy almost decided to let Little Ann die in the icy cold water. An example of an external conflict is when Billy was in the contest and the storm came in, and they all almost died.
To me, I thought this book had a little bit of everything, comedy, drama, and a some what amount of parts that will make you cry. When I finished this book it made me appreciate everything that I have today. I had to read this book for school. Even though it is hard for me to say, I cried a lot during this book, but that's ok because you have no idea who I am. You should definitely read this book.
