I am 59 and have read more mystery series than I'd like to disclose. Crombie's books are some of the best. She researches each setting in Scotland or England. Her descriptions make you want to get your passport and get on the plane. Her characters become people you know from her first book. I'd recommend starting at the beginning of the series and reading them all!
