I recently read this book by Kim Simac, and I think it is very sweet. I think it would be a good choice for any youngster, even if they are not interested in hockey. The rhythm of this book is almost like a song, so it keeps young readers interested. The illustrations are not too baby-ish, and in general I think this is a great book! Nice work....this is the kind of book that could get kids interested in reading at a young age, and as a teacher, I can safely say it will keep them interested as well!Book Review: WOW a hatrick in the making!!

Wow, this inspiring book is a great learning tool for all youngsters who dream of playing hockey. Usually, Benny my little guy, has no interest in any kind of books,but since the day Benny found this book wrapped up for his birthday he hasn't been able to put it down. Benny has brought this book to school for show and tell and can even recite the lines by heart. Beautiful illustrations and captions youngsters can relate to. This is a fantastic book for the younger hockey fan. My son eats, sleeps and breathes hockey and wanted a hockey book that he could read himself. Most beginning reader hockey books are "childish" in nature (ex. Franklin the turtle, Arthur from PBS) and he wanted one that was really about non-fiction hockey, but for his reading level. I recently purchased this book and I absolutely love it. It caught my eye with the striking illustration of the young boy's face on the cover. Throughout the book, the author takes you on an adventure thru the dreams of a young boy. Working at a daycare, this book is a favorite and always requested. I would definitely recommend this book to enhance your children's dreams and imagination.
Book Review: Very Awesome for every Hockey Youngster

I really enjoyed reading the particular book to my child. My son, Todd, loves hockey, and usually its hard for him to sit still so I can read him a book. While reading this book my child was able to read and really relate to the story. I think that the illustrations were colorful and it really caught his eye. I recommend this book to anybody that likes hockey and for their child who loves it too!
