Book Review: Word of Faith accusations are silly and kneejerk....

look, i understand the concerns and have grown up in such crowds my whole life but i have listened to Johnson and read 2 of his books now. The guy is solid. People will be scared and start screaming that this is word of faith but what it is is the Word of God lived out. Jesus and the Apostles acted out the Word of God and the result was signs and wonders. This is what Bill Johnson is calling us to. He can be sloppy with his etymology (he gets confused about the roots of words at times) but if this is the worst thing that can be said about him then who cares? I love his heart and I love the fact that he is humble and teaching others to walk in the power of God. We could use more such people in the Kingdom.......Book Review: Best book on faith and kingdom building I have read.

I am being revitalized in my faith walk as I have been reading this book. What Pastor Bill is teaching here is so important to me personally that I have been taking notes on 3 x 5 cards and putting them in my Bible to review so they become a vital part of my daily walk with Christ. I have already given out two copies of this book to two pastors I know.
This book accurately describes the Christian as a citizen of heaven sent to earth to plunder hell in the wame way Jesus said that he came to earth to destroy the works of the devil.
I recommend this book to any believer in Jesus who doesn't want to settle for a weak and ineffective life. This book will lite the fire within you very effectively.

This book will blow you away with a better understanding on how to walk in the power of God every day of your life. Bill Johnson is a great writer, and this book really seems to shine through with nuggets of wisdom from his walk with the Lord. It is very encouraging and really makes you want to pray for God's will "to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)", and then have the faith to step out and trust God to work with you to see it actually happen. I've read it more than once, because there is so much depth to take in. I also highly recommend his other book, "The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind", which is also very encouraging and insightful. I am oftentimes skeptical when fellow believers recommend Christian books. Oftentimes the title is powerful but they are so basic in their content that I wonder if the preacher or evangelist wrote it on flights between speaking engagements. Not so with W.H.I.E.! This book has meat to it and is thoroughly challenging , engaging and thought provoking. You will not rush through this book. It is inspired and the author writes from a position of spiritual maturity born of experience. This book may be
difficult for believers who only want a thrill. It points out the cost of
bringing "heaven to earth" and that is a cost that many will not want to pay. I give it 5 stars!

When we as the church come together in unity God pours out his Spirit and His blessings upon us. This book is a great starting point to see this come about and bring what God desires to this earth - Healing -Deliverance and Freedom to his creation.
