Summary: 5 Stars
My family loves this book. I bought it when my then 5 year old began to ask questions.
I wanted to be sure that I was not over or under informing her. This book was exactly what we needed. She likes to read it alone and together,when she has questions. Her sister is now 5 years old and is learning a great deal from it. The book really creates opportunity for clear question and answers at an age appropriate level. I disagree with the negative reviews wholeheartedly. This is a wonderful option for parents and children in the age 5 level. Which is a very curious time in our house.
The illustrations are informative but not clinical. The approach eliminates embarrassment by showing kids being comfortable with their bodies,in a very respectful way.
I have recommended it to many like minded parents,and will continue to do so.
