Book Reviews of What's So Great about America

Book Review: Clears the cobwebs of "Multiculturalism" from your head
Summary: 5 Stars

Lucidly and thoroughly exposes the myth of multiculturalism as exactly what it is: a western construct arising from the delusional minds of idealists with no basis in history, reality, or fact.
This very un-PC book is one of the best at demolishing, one by one, all of the false notions upon which the self-hatred of the west has been drilled into us by the remnants of the socialist leftist elites.
From exposing slavery, colonialism, and exploitation as part and parcel of ALL civilizations before the rise of the west rather than uniquely western (as is held by PC/MC advocates), to demonstrating the unique value westernization has brought to most of those exposed to it, it brings back and reminds us of why we should love, defend and cherish what we have created.
This book should be required reading for all our children, and all our politicians. It will give you all the ammunition you need to defend against every attack by the PC/MC elites. Our culture is unique and exceptional, and while not perfect, it is far, far, far superior to anything else that came before. And here are all the reasons for loving it and defending it; perhaps even be willing to die for it.

Book Review: The Thomas Paine of our day.
Summary: 5 Stars

Dinesh D'Souza is the Thomas Paine of our day. His insight, logic, grasp of the English Language, and wit make him, I believe, the best political author alive.
What's so Great About America is one of the greatest books I have read. He digs down beyond the usual debate over the war on terror and aptly defines it as a war between two mutually exclusive philosiphies: Freedom v. Coerced Virtue. He doesn't deny the faults in our system, but he shows that those problems are better than the alternative. This book is well worth the money I spent on it, and I am looking forward to reading other books by the author.

It is a shame that the devisive climate of our country would make some people deny the brilliance of this book because it doesn't fit their point of view. There have been uncalled for opinions that don't reflect the book, and even quotes from the book taken out of context (someone claimed that he said that European violence agianst Native Americans was "isolated instances", when he actually said that "there were isolated instances of Europeans purposely spreading smallpox"). Don't believe the negativity, and buy this book!

Book Review: Best book I have ever read
Summary: 5 Stars

I am college student at one of the more liberal campuses in the US (maybe the world for that matter). The liberal and multiculturalism myths that are preached as the gospel in campuses like mine are fantastically debunked in the strikingly original work. Dinesh D'Souza provides an almost complete basis for the conservative thought process. EVERY American should read this book with an open mind. It challenged many of my own personal views on certain ideas but reinforced most.

The book is less than 200 pages but is probably the most insightful book I have ever read. Witty, courageous, absolutely astounding. Take a few hours to appreciate the pillars of democracy, science, and capitalism that make this country the greatest civilization in history.

The author puts it best when he describes that a united America is invincible. The only war the US has ever "lost" was caused in large part because people did not understand what we were fighting for. As we face Islamic fundamentalist terrorism, it is very important that we all remember just what we are fighting for and what is so great about America. God bless the USA.

Book Review: What We Are Fighting For
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow! I just finished this great book that describes, in the most comprehensive and illuminating way, how the Islamists view Americans and why the terrorists hate us. The author, Dinesh D'Souza came to America from India as a student in the late 1970's. As an immigrant himself, D'Souza reveals how immigrants see American society both the good and the bad. He examines the alleged sins of America and gives a perspective that is seldom heard but deserves our attention. He gives Americans a new understanding and appreciation of our heritage and our history.

D'Souza shares with the reader important advice that we Americans must follow if we are to defeat the radical Islamists. The divisiveness that is driving our politics, the idea of multiculturalism being fostered on our high school and college students, and American's ignorance of the true nature of virtue, all combine to threaten our resolve to defeat radical Islam. We are called to wake up to what it is we are fighting for and to take seriously the threat facing America and all freedom loving societies everywhere.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

Book Review: I Bet the Right Hates this one
Summary: 5 Stars

Finally, an excellent book has come out by someone who actually knows what he's talking about. I bet the neo-conservatives are running for cover from this one. Dinesh D'Souza restores my faith in America. He's a breath of fresh air after all the raunchy political pornography that's being churned out by people like Ann Coulter and Michael Moore. This is what America's about, about telling the truth, and this guy knows the truth.

Don't you guys see how refreshing and invigorating it is to tell the truth? Pull the black veil off your hearts and ENJOY America, our beautiful country. Nothing is as patriotic in America as the TRUTH, why can't the bickerers learn that.

This book really tells what's right about America. I was wondering if it could be done anymore. Lay down your broomstick and black hat Ann Coulter, I bet you hate this book!
