It covers all of the things you may go through to get started all the way to post-op. Some of it was review for me, but I now have another list of questions for my surgeon before I have the surgery.
The cover insurance, pre testing, types of surgery, even recipes for all stages of your WLS. I would recommend it to everyone even thinking about this!

Book Review: Another Great Book for Dummies Summary: 5 Stars
Written in the easy-to-read style of the classic "Dummies" series books, this is a great reference book if you are considering bariatric surgery. It is full of information (things you didn't even know you HAD to know!) on what to expect before, during and after surgery --how to plan ahead, what you might experience, etc. As the author says: Take the book to the hospital with you and keep it by your bedside. Don't be a dummie; buy the book.
