I have been using this CD and book to teach my three children patriotic songs and historical information for about 2 years. They love the songs, even the 3 year old learned them. I love having the lyrics and other information in the accompanying book. I think that it is very well put together. Every verse of every song is not sung, so if this is an issue for you, find another CD, but if you just want the first verse, and sometimes second verse, it is wonderful! My oldest 2 children and I now know all 50 states in alphabetical order. The singing on the CD is quite good, mostly by children ("Wee Sing"). Overall, I think it is well worth the money.Book Review: Memories from MY childhood!

This Cd is GREAT for kids...as is the whole Wee Sing Series. I originally owned this on tape a child and would listen to it for hours on end. Before I even got to Kindergarten I knew everything from the pledge of allegiance to the preamble to the constitution. I managed to surprised many teachers over the years with things I memorized off this cd. Although it isn't necessarily an instructional cd it will teach your children (and probably you!) many historical songs and quotations. Many are patriotic but others are just classic "folk" songs. This cd is money well spent and I highly recomend it.
