Book Review: it saved my grade!
Summary: 5 Stars
I took a fairly structured water law course but even then it was hard to keep straight all the different legal regimes, federal laws, and constitutional doctrines. Come exam time, this was the perfect thing to fill in any gaps in my outline. Also being that Getches was a co-author of my casebook, the book corresponded really well with the order of my class notes/reading assignments.
Summary of Water Law in a Nutshell (Nutshell Series)
Reliable source on water law contains updated court decisions from hundreds of case and statutory changes in several states. There is an added discussion on surface use of waters in light of the increased importance of public recreational water uses. Throughout the edition, where appropriate, analysis expands on the subjects of instream flow protection, water quality, and public-interest concerns in water use and water collection.General Books
