Book Review: An excellent continuation of a fabulous series
Summary: 5 Stars
Although this was not my favorite of the first three Outlander books, that's kind of like me saying I prefer Lindt chocolate over Godiva chocolate -- they're all yummy!
"Voyager" was a little hard for me to wrap my mind around at first, as it took me a while to get used to a 20-years-older Jamie, but that hurdle was quickly passed as I got caught up in the book with it's interesting twists and turns.
This series is one of my all-time favorites!

This is by far the best of the first three installments in the Outlander series! It has it all -- action, adventure, mystery, romance, intrigue, zany characters, etc. I loved the first two Outlander books, but this was the one I literally could not put down! I have ordered the fourth one and can't wait for it to arrive to see what happens next. Ms. Gabaldon is an EXCELLENT story-teller and I highly recommend this book (and her others) to anyone who loves a good story!Book Review: The best so far

Of the Outlander books I've read, this is my favorite so far. It loosens up on the constant violence against Jamie that was in book 1, but keeps the adventure along with the great descriptions, great use of all five senses to really put you right there in the middle of the action, along with a vivid sense of history, and providing lots of the little interesting historical details of the time and place which so many readers of historical fiction love. This is the third book in the series. The second book leaves the reader desperately wanting to know what will happen next and Voyager is very satisfying. The love story of Jamie and Claire continues 20 years later. They have the time to catch up on each other's lives while also embarking on a crazy adventure. I have loved all the books so far and Voyager is another page-turner from Gabaldon. I have just started the next book, Drums of Autumn.Book Review: the absolute best!!!

I have loved Diana Gabaldon books. I have read them all over and over. I would say above all books I have ever read her books I love the best. Often times I find when I am bored or driving in the car my mind takes me back to a scene in one of her books. I am an avid reader and have bookshelves upon bookshelves of books. but this book along with the others in the series are my very favorite. Read them you will not regret it!!!
