Book Reviews of Voyage through EternityBook Review: An Incredible Journey Summary: 5 Stars
Voyage Through Eternity is indeed an incredible journey. Harvey A. Green, the author, invites the reader to join him on a fantastic excursion across the vast landscape of reality. The reader will discover spiritual, mental and physical realms while gaining an understanding of how the former gradually condenses into the latter. Our experiences in these realms are explored, including our relationship with the sentient beings residing in each of them. This incredible saga dwells upon, and explains at length those forces of which we are comprised that emanate from these higher realms.
Following creation from its most sublime state through progressive densified stages would be a mind boggling exercise if it were not for the author's ability to build a logical thesis, line upon line. Illustrations throughout this work paint magnificent word pictures to enable the mind of the reader to wrap itself around what is a compelling creation scenario. The illustrations, and constant comparisons used accomplish the author's goal of awakening in the reader a sense of emotional connection to the information presented.
The author presents vivid images of the levels, realms and regions through which we traveled, discussing the higher life forms such as angels, archangels and a myriad of sentient beings, with whom we interacted on this journey of self-discovery. Time, space, and matter are reflected upon as Green methodically builds a convincing case for how they were condensed from the life emanating from higher levels of reality.
There is an entire chapter devoted to Universal Laws, as the principles; the framework within which perfection is expressed on all levels of reality. This chapter, because it deals intimately with our destiny as divine beings, may be the most inspirational of all. Finally, what we commonly call life after death is delved into by the author as he describes our voyage in consciousness through eternity.
Spiritual, philosophical, mystical, metaphysical, and new age, are just some of the categories under which this book can be categorized. This work is not simply a novel but a road map of creation. As such, the author suggests this book be read and reread slowly to "allow our contemplation to act as enzymes, helping us to digest the information given."
Some of Green's earlier work from his Life and Death; The Pilgrimage of the Soul, appears here in a whole new light. In this work, he displays the same sense of passion and emotion as he did in his Letters to His Beloved. An important work, Voyage Through Eternity is more than informative; it is inspirational and may well accomplish its author's stated goal to awaken in the reader a sense of his or her own divinity. As Green states in his introduction, "To accomplish this, we offer a glimpse of infinity, a whiff of holiness, and a tale as grand as the soul itself."
