Book Review: Another keepsake book by Chaikin with ideas/opinions from the 12 on moon, 6 solo around moon

Here's is another wonderful 5 stars keepsake book with great pictures by Andrew Chaikin with Victoria Kohl. I bought and read Andrew Chaikin's 3 volume A man on the moon ( fantastic keepsake collection 5 stars).
In Voices from the Moon Andrew gives many ideas and opinions from the actual 12 astronauts that stood on the moon and the 6 that soloed around the moon in command spacecraft. Sadly many of the "moon" astronauts have passed away. At least we have this great book that has some of their ideas/opinions about their experiences on or around the moon.
A few of the astronauts got more religious after their moon trip. Others considered it as a job ( but the best job) and their careers were over at 39 and it was time to move on and do something else. All were proud of their contributions.
Here is a book that gives the reader much "uplifting" of the spirit. We see the "glory" that was Apollo. Also be sure to read the very end. There is much praise for the hundred of thousands that contributed to the program, most totally unknowns that worked very hard in the Apollo program. Also a good feeling that we will someday go back to the moon and much farther out. I have Voices From the Moon right next to my 3 set Man on the Moon also by Andrew Chaikin. If I'm having a discussion about Apollo with someone and they mention a certain astronaut by name, I'll ask do you want to see his ideas or opinions on his moon trip. I then flip open Voices From the Moon and show them. Usually they say "that's something or wow".
Here is a great book for your home family library and to pass on to your loved ones. A great book to go with the 3 set collection A Man on the Moon. Both 5 star rated.
