Book Review: Great Insight

This book does something extremely rare: it permits readers access to Hassan Nasrallah's words WITHOUT A BIASED INTERMEDIARY FILTERING THEM.
The book includes speeches, television and newspaper interviews, etc dating back to the mid-1980s. Nasrallah's words provide an incredible insight into his thoughts and motives and those of his resistance/terrorist movement (depending on your views).
I now have a greater understanding of Hizballah's interaction in Lebanon's domestic politics and its views toward Israel. The book is not a particularly easy read because it's more than 400 pages of speeches (doesn't "flow" like a novel). However, it is a great book that gives unfiltered information. This is NOT a beginner's book, as the editor's footnoted explanations are insufficient to educate a beginner. This is for the intermediate-to-serious student of Lebanon, the Arab-Israeli relationship, and Hizballah.
If you belong to that final category and want direct/unfiltered/unbiased information, I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
