Book Review: Very low quality score

This score was produced very cheaply, and is not worth buying.
The sheet music is a photographic reprint of the original Metzler score. The scan is very poor quality, which means note stems are missing and staff lines sometimes have gaps. The original score is so old that it uses the old style quarter rests, which look like backwards eighth rests. It makes reading the score very difficult for anyone used to modern musical notation.
On top of this, jpeg compression artifacts are clearly visible around the letters on the cover. The publisher couldn't be bothered to spend a few extra megabytes of disk space to store a higher quality image for the cover... which is monochrome text. Have they never heard of a tiff? This really shows a lack of technical competence and a disregard for quality.
