This is an independent reader for SonLight homeschool curriculum grade 2 with comprehension questions. Most days were 1 chapter with 2-3 questions. My son enjoyed reading it and usually was anxious to share the details before finishing his daily reading. Sometimes I didn't even have a chance to ask the questions. Plenty of action and wonderful examples of courage, the importance of wisdom in a leader, loyalty and perseverance. Boys should read this inspiring book.

He continued to write, and his books for children became so successful that he was able to satisfy his desire to travel through the United States, Mexico, and Hawaii.
