Book Reviews of Vampire Hunter D Volume 10: Dark Nocturne (Vampire Hunter D)Book Review: D comprised in short stories Summary: 5 StarsI loved the way this was written. It is in 3 short stories and each one is wonderful. D rides a different colored horse in one of them and they are definitley not lacking in action. I highly recommend this novel.
Book Review: A collection of short stories. Not as good as full length ones. Summary: 3 StarsI like the Vampire Hunter D series of books. Not too keen on this one though. It's a collection of three short stories. While the scenarios are in keeping with the world D lives in (full of supernatural monsters in the year 12090AD), D seems to be written out of character, as he talks too much. In all his other proper books, he is a person of few words and rarely startled.
In hindsight, I would skipped this book and waited for the next one, which I think will be a doozy.
