Book Reviews of Up Till Now: The Autobiography

Book Review: Who Knew?
Summary: 5 Stars

While I consider myself a Shatner fan, I had no idea that his body of work, pre-Trek, was so large. An accomplished broadway actor that resisted the pull, and the money, that television offered-- only to keep working in the craft of "real" actors. What a gentleman, and truly, an icon of our time. Thanks, Bill, for a wonderful book. And, please, keep working. By the way, we'll miss you in the next Trek prequil.

Book Review: Gave as a gift.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to admit I haven't yet read this myself, but I feel like I have! I gave this book to my Grandfather and he would e-mail me passages from it that were absolutly hysterical. He loved the book and has been recomending it to everyone. He is a fan of Boston Legal and William Shatner is his favorite actor on the show, so I felt this would be something he would enjoy. He said he couldn't put it down!

Book Review: Fascinating life and wonderful man
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was fascinating. I could not put it down. William Shatner is more funny and humble and hard-working than anyone knew. I see some people complaining about his "asides" within the narrative, but I found them humorous, and I thought it just added to the feel that the man was there in person, telling you his life story.

Book Review: A GOOD HISTORY
Summary: 5 Stars

This was a very easy and enjoyable book to read. Learned a lot about him that Entertainment does not cover and this is in his own words. A lot of good parts in book and some sad ones. Never new how the cast felt about him while doing star trek. I would give this a 8 out of 10. A MUST READ IF YOU EVEN KNOW WHO HE IS!

Book Review: A fun book
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a fun book where Shatner pokes fun at himself, compliments people whom he finds talented and critisizes people whom he finds flawed. I thought this was a very evenly flowed written book, one of which I had a low expectation for but made me laugh with comments I did not expect. A good read.
