I, too, have read many survival books and I tend to disagree with some of the reviewers of this one. This is not only an excellent book, but the best on topic. I have now read this book, after taking the advice of the October 1, 2001 reviewer whose son is a military doctor (see, The First How-To Book Everyone Should Consider), and find it to be everything I expected, and more. It's a book EVERYONE should have, even if you're a couch-potato, not an outdoors person.Book Review: The Survival Book For Everyone

Since I was a Fire Direction officer for the 1/83rd FA,from November 1969 to October 1970, I wanted a copy of the 8 inch, 175 mm field manuel for presentation at our Vietnam reunions. It is in premium condition and has the material for the gun crews. It is nice to find such material after 40 years.Book Review: IMPORTANT - MAYBE

Get this as a free download (Input on Google: "FM 21-76") and save this PDF File on a memory chip. It is what it purports to be. It could save your life and the lives of everyone in your family - even your neighbors. If it turns out that you don't have a need for it, then it cost you nothing.
