Book Review: Comprehensive and well written

I've been a long time reader of Matt McGee's fan blog [...] (which BTW I visit more often that U2's official website because the written content is often better) as well as a long time fan of Matt's writing so I was excited when I found out he was going to put his extensive knowledge about my favorite band into a full-fledged book. The results are outstanding.
Matt's research was thorough and incredibly accurate - the pictures are a delight, many of which were never before printed. It's the most comprehensive chronology I've seen so far and believe me, I've seen them all (and own most of them).
A must buy for the uberfan, but also a lot to offer the casual fan who wants to visit different seasons in the band's history at their own pace. Besides "U2 by U2" I don't think there's a better book about U2 out there.
