With so many websites, and "miracle" products for growing hair long sometimes we pass up the straightforward gems that equal success. In my search for longer healthier hair I have (in the past) tried most everything out there. I have gone from one inch of hair to a thick head of hair grazing my middle back.
My mother often stares at my hair in awe commenting that when I was young she struggled with my hair and never thought it would grow to my shoulders...let alone below BS length (bra-strap).
My own hair is thin and fine but there is a lot of it. It can also be very fragile at the crown where I once suffered nightmarish severe breakage. Incidentally this is also where the author suffered severe hair damage.
Following the 12 straightforward steps in this guide for long hair my hair is the healthiest and longest it has ever been.
Many think that straightening your hair then removes it from being in a natural state. I don't share that view. My hair is an accessory and I like it to look nice no matter the style. I often go from pressing to wearing it in the natural curly state (depending on the weather).
