Tuck everlasting was a really good book!!! When you read the first few pages you might get confused and want to stop reading the book. (I was) If you keep on reading though it becomes a really good book. Let me tell you a little about it. Well.... theres a little girl named Winnifred (Winnie for short) who lives in a quiet little town called treegap which she thinks is a boreing town. She lives in a touch-me-not cottage and her family owns the wood (woods). She meets the tucks in a werid way and she gets to know their secret but when a man in a yellow suit finds out where Winnie is and the tucks secret all the events spiral out of control and only Winnie can save the tucks from being exposed.Well then ....... you have to read the book to know what happens!!!!!
Book Review: Descriptive Writing at its best Summary: 5 Stars
Tuck Everlasting is perhaps one of the most magical, enchanting books ever written, and is descriptive writing at its best. As a Language Arts/Reading teacher, I've used several passages from this book to model descriptive writing to my students..."endless tangled vines; and here and there a fallen log, half rotted but soft with patches of sweet-velvet moss" (p. 24). As with most chapter books, there are no illustrations, therefore, as a reader you must rely on the words themselves to hook you, to help you visualize, keeping you reading. I highly recommend this book not only for students, librarians, and teachers, but also for educators to use when preparing students for standardized tests.
Book Review: One of the best books I have ever read Summary: 5 Stars
Yes!! Tuck Everlasting truly is one of the best books I have ever read. Natalie Babbit makes her writing poetic and yet exciting at the same time. I am the same age as Winnie Foster and I kind of know what it feels like to be fed up with being cooped up in a house. I absolutely loved the part where Winnie walks into the Tuck's home and describes it as, "...the gentle eddies of dust, the silver cobwebs, the mouse who lived-and welcome to him!-in a table drawer."
Now that I have read Tuck Everlasting, I think I will read Kneeknock Rise whick is also by Natalie Babbit. If you liked Tuck Everlasting; maybe you should too!

Book Review: Sabrina's review of Tuck Everlasting Summary: 5 Stars
The book Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt was an outstanding book and kept me thinking. I loved the first chapter, but was not able to fully understand what was going on. As the book went on, I was able to determine what it was about. Also, I loved and enjoyed that the man in the yellow suit was so mysterious. Another thing that was great was how many vivid details the author added to the story to make it like as if I was there in the book right next to the Tucks and Winnie. All of Natalie's books have been great, funny, enjoyful, and entertaining. But this to me has been her best book yet! I would recommend it to any fifth grader.

Book Review: What's your favorite kind of book? by Nagrom Summary: 5 Stars
Hey! Do you love romance and suspension? If you do you will love Tuck Everlasting by Natallie Babbit. Tuck Everlasting by Natallie Babbit describes the love story between Jesse Tuck and Winnie Foster and how they help each other. Initially, Winnie wants to run away, so she won't be bossed around anymore. She has a great desire to be in the wide open spaces. After that, she finds Jesse Tuck and meets his family. The Tucks take her away. Not against her will though. She wanted to go. Last, she helps the Tucks in their time of need. She helps them make a very important decision. This book was top notch in my opinion. Read it! I dare you!
