Book Reviews of Tuck EverlastingBook Review: Life Forever Summary: 5 Stars
Alyssia from the 6th grade. Tuck Everlasting is an Enchanted Story. It takes place in the wood, which there lies the spring. There in in the wood there are many cottages. Winnie, the main character of this book, finds what it is like to live forever. When she was kidnapped, it didn't feel like a normal one to her. She figured it would be big scary guys with masks and that she would be shoved in a bag. This family of Jesse, Miles, Mae and Tuck it was not like that at all. They were going to return her to her family the day after. When Jesse offered the pring to Winnie to drink at 17 to live forever she had to pick one choice. I can relate to this story because it is a hard decision to pick if you want to live forever. This story preety much tells you to follow your heart. Natallie Babbit wrote a great story, that i and hopefully others would like to read over, and over again. Really read it, it's a great book.
Book Review: Get ready to be grabbed Summary: 5 Stars
Tuck Everlasting
This book will grab your free time if you like descriptions and usage of literary devices. This wonderful book is about a special family who meet a ten year old girl who learns their secret--a secret that in the wrong hands could cause a catastrophe.
What I liked about this book is that the author, Natalie Babbitt, uses descriptions to allow you to picture the scenes perfectly in your hopefully wonderful imagination. I loved this book inside and out because the author builds suspense through usage of carefully chosen literary devices. There wasn't a single part that I didn't like.
This book is wonderful. I would highly recommend you pay the seven dollars to buy this book if you want to be transported.
Book Review: Tuck Everlasting Summary: 5 Stars
One hot summer day in August, 10-year-old Winnie Foster sits on the front porch and thinks about running away. She goes into the woods, but she finds a boy named Jesse Tuck sitting underneath the biggest tree in the wood. After that, she finds herself on one of the greatest adventures ever. She meets the rest of the Tucks, who have had a twist of fate and ended up permanently immortal. Winnie learns lots of things about the value of life from the Tucks, and I was very satisfied with how the book ended.
Natalie Babbit has a magical way of turning a poetic novel into something that a sixth grader can enjoy again and again. I loved Tuck Everlasing, so maybe I will read some more of Natalie Babbit's work, such as Kneeknock Rise. If you enjoyed Tuck Everlasting as much as I did, maybe you should, too!

Tuck Everlasting was a great story. The book's setting takes place at Treegap Woods. It's trees are beautiful, people live in cottages, everyone was happy. Winnie, a ten year old girl, is the main character. She looks for an adventure through out the story. She doesn't even know that she just has to step outside her cottage to find a mystery. She is tired of being kept in Treegap. She wants to run away. So she does. She finds a boy named Jesse Tuck who is protecting a peculiar spring, which turns out to be no ordinary spring. Winnie thinks that the spring water could quench her thirst, but it does something more mysterious. The mysterious spring is what Jesse Tuck is trying to keep secret from everyone. The adventures of Winnie will keep you captivated throughout the book. I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did!!!

Book Review: If only it could happen, By Koali'i. L. Grade 6 Summary: 5 Stars
Do you want to live forever? I thought I might want to live forever. After reading this book I had second thoughts. This book was about the Tucks and the Fountain of Youth they discovered. Was this a blessing or a curse? Winnie a ten year old girl had to consider this question. She was kidnapped, witnessed a murder, and assisted in a jailbreak. She must make a decision that could affect her life forever. The story takes place in the 1880s with horses used for transportation and a gallows in the town square. The story is very entertaining and makes you think about life and death, friendship, and making responsible decisions. The best thing about this book is guessing about what will happen next. Everytime you think you know what will happen in the story something else happens and you get surprised. My teacher recommended this book and I do too.
