Book Reviews of Tuck Everlasting

Book Review: I love tuck 5 Stars

I'm Devin and I love this book! I like how all of it is in the past and has adventure. I like because this is sort of like when I was stuck with a very big decision. The conflict is when Winnie Foster, main character, finds this spring with the Tucks guarding it. The setting is in Treegap, on the mainland in hot August with 10 year old Winnie Foster talking to the toad in her front yard. She is not happy with her parents watching her almost every minute of sunlight. She says she wants to run away and explore the world with freedom. But sadly she dosen't. but she is not too late it was early morning and she walked down the road in to the wood by her house. in the middle of the wood she spots a boy with a wild look. She jumps behind a bush and watches as he removes a pile of stones that reveal a spring. She walks out and demands a drink, but he would not let her. Then just as the argument started Mae Tuck walks in and says, "the worst has happened at last." Then the Jesse, the boy, and Mae snatch her up and take her away. Will she drink or not? Is she going to be OK?

Book Review: Tuck Everlasting Review by Krishna
Summary: 5 Stars

Hi I'm Krishna and I am reviewing Tuck Everlasting. Tuck Everlasting is a story about a young girl named Winnie. One day she goes wandering through the woods(that her family owns) and comes upon a boy drinking from a spring and wants a drink too. Jesse, the boy she had just met that was drinking from the spring, won't let her she then gets kidnapped by the Tucks(Jesse's family) her entire life changed from that day onwards. The Tucks tell her about their immortality and how they can never die and how they learned they could never die. Then Jesse asks her a question that gives her the choice to drastically change her life or can live and die the natural way.Meanwhile, a man comes looking for the Tucks, this man is known only as the man in the yellow suit.

I personally am not a fan of fantasy books but this was different it was better than fantasy. It is an amazing book that explains of how death is a part of life.I enjoyed it and thought it was a great book. Even though and don't like fantasy I think that this book is an excellent book.

Book Review: Amazing! by K.F. From Annapolis
Summary: 5 Stars

If you like fantasies then you should read Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. Miles, Mae, Tuck, and Jesse meet Winnie Foster in the woods near their house. In the woods is a spring that if drank from it, you could live forever. Winnie goes home with the Tucks and a man follows them, who wants to make money from selling the water from the spring. Winnie Foster is my favorite character because she is sweet, kind, and thoughtful.

Winnie reminded me of my cousin, Sophie, because they are both very sweet and loving. My text-to-self connection is I have gone row boating and fishing like Tuck and Winnie did.

I like the book Tuck Everlasting because it's exciting and an unusual story. My favorite part is when Mae gets put in jail and Winnie lets her out and stays there until the sheriff finds her the next morning. If I could change anything I wouldn't have let one of the main characters die. To see if you agree with me, you'll have to read this book. Tuck Everlasting is for girls ages 7-13.

Book Review: Action, adventure, and romance
Summary: 5 Stars

Tuck Everlasting

Do you like adventure and romance? Then Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt is your book to read. Then you can go on an adventure with the Tuck family and Winnie.

This book has a bit of everything -- romance, adventure, and action. It all started when Winnie always thought she was in a prison in her fenced backyard. One day she snuck out of her house and went to the woods. There, she saw a boy drinking from a spring. His name was Jesse. Then she was taken to his father's home by force, and the family told Winnie that the spring that Jesse was drinking from made them live forever.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has a HUGE imagination and a good dictionary inside their head, because the novel has complex phrases. I like this book because it has romance, action, and adventure.

Have fun reading Tuck Everlasting!

Book Review: Brilliant!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is brutally beautiful. With all of the vampire stories these days touting immortality as some magnificent gift, it's great to read a book like Tuck Everlasting, which says that, truthfully, immortality is really not that great.

This is one of those children's books that is much more than what it seems to be. It has a profound theme usually reserved for adult books and that's one of the reasons why it's a classic. It will have you questioning and wondering about the true meaning of life and death, and how important it is to live in the here and now.

The writing is beautiful without being overwrought. The characters are believable and utterly realistic. Most regret their immortality but there is also a character that enjoys the future possibilities, and it's good to see both sides.

The plot is fast-paced and intense, making this book a highly engaging read. I recommend it for people of all ages.
