Book Reviews of Tuck EverlastingBook Review: Tuck Everlasting Book Review Summary: 5 Stars
One thing to describe Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt is wonderful. I picked the word wonderful because of all the wonderful things that had happened in this book. Tuck Everlasting is about a girl, Winnie Foster, that feels that she is always being watched by one or more of her family members. One day, Winnie's day becomes a nightmare as she has been kidnapped by a strange family. They take her to a quiet place to talk about why she had been kidnapped not to see that someone is over hearing everything they are talking about special information about their life of being over a 100 years old. The stranger has been interested in this type of family since he was little by his grandmother's stories. This strange family took Winnie to their home to spend the night. Winnie thought they were bad people to start with but as the night grow older the thought of this family being bad guys disappeared from Winnie's mind. The stranger that over heard the secret of this family stole their horse and is at the door step. One of the family members opened the door and there he is. That stranger wants a bargain the spring that the strange family drank from which is the special secret. He wants to sell the spring for a high profit. But will the strange family keep him away from this spring of immortality? Or let him go his own way and sell the spring? That is for you to find out.
Book Review: LItland.com loves Tuck Everlasting! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is ultimately about love. The love of all creatures, and of their created nature. The love of two families, and love of friends. From Mr. Tuck, Winnie learns the importance of the natural cycle of life, acceptance of living and dying, and selflessness. It begins in a dream of Heaven and ends in a cemetery, taking its reader through a realm of emotions in-between. Centered in 1880, it portrays the simple rural and small town life well.
In addition to love, this story has a strong theme of Hope. If there wasn't hope for a better future, Jesse would not consider marriage to Winnie when she is of marrying age. Winnie is hopeful she can help the Tucks.
This is an excellent book for families to read together. It is appropriate for all ages, although of most interest to readers in 5th-8th grades. Choosing this story for your family reading hour or book club will give you much to talk through, and grow together as a family. It would also be an excellent teacher choice for in-class reading. Talking about books such as Tuck Everlasting is an important part of understanding and growing in our own value system, while also giving concrete examples for good behaviour to emulate. We cannot say enough about this great book!

Book Review: :)Great book :) Summary: 5 Stars
Book title and author: Tuck Everlasting/Natalie Babbitt
Title of review: º GREAT BOOKº
Number of stars (1 to 5): *****
Introduction: This book is about a girl named Winnie and her she lives with her Mom and Grandmother.
Description and summary of main points: One of the reasons I like this book is because it keeps you guessing and it never gets old and there are a lot of main people in the story. ¡§Winnie I love you¡¨(137). My favorite person in the story is Winnie because she is a little like me in some ways and then some ways not my favorite part of the book is when instead of dirking the water to get everlasting life she pours it on the toad so that it can have everlasting life. Another reason I like the book is because Tuck and Winnie fall in love so then again it is like a love story and it is also a little bit on the confusing side because there are so many people in this story that it does get a little confusing but other than that I really liked this book.
Evaluation other than that I really like this book.
Conclusion The last thing I liked about the book is that it was really interesting to me and that it was an awesome book.
Your final review I really LOVED this book.
Book Review: A Wonderful Story for Teenagers and Adults Summary: 5 Stars
Note: There are a couple Mormons who are angry over my negative reviews of books written in defense of the Book of Mormon, and they have been slamming my reviews.
So your "helpful" votes are appreciated. Thanks.
My review for "Tuck Everlasting" is not long, but it is to the point. I didn't want to tell everything. The person who has been giving me "not helpful" votes is probably not a reader.
I don't like telling the whole plot of novels. Long reviews are better to read after you've read the novel, itself. A short review that can capture the "hook" can still be a good review. So here it is:
On "Tuck Everlasting":
This is a great story about a fountain of youth, and the terrible consequences of drinking from it. There is a lot to think about in this beautifully written story. What if you never grew old, but everyone around you did? Would you drink from the fountain?
For being a down-home southern novel, "Tuck Everlasting" is full of deep philosophical questions. Don't let that scare you, though. It's a great story.
The novel is a short easy read, and I highly recommend it.
Your comments--positive or negative--are greatly appreciated. Thanks
Book Review: This is a great book! I think most people will like this book. In it 10 year old Winnie finds out about the Tuck's secret. After Summary: 5 Stars
I think most people will like this book. In it 10 year old Winnie finds out about the Tuck's secret. After that the excitement never lets up. There is a man who wants to sell the magic water that the Tucks knew about for a fortune. Eventually the plan is foiled. However I do not want to reveal to much if you have not already read the book.
I especially liked Natalie Babbitt's descriptions of things such as the light in the woods, the Tuck's house, and her description of life as a wheel. Also she makes you think about life and death by constant references to it like with Winnie's conversation with Angus Tuck in the rowboat. I think many people will like it because of her descriptive writing, and her vocabulary. I would not recommend it to young children because of the vocabulary. However I think that if the person in question had a huge vocabulary then he or she might like this book.
Reading it will make you wish for more of it. It will make you want another chapter and another after that. It will make you wish it really was eternal and everlasting. I hope you like Tuck Everlasting as much as I did! Good luck!
