Book Review: The Best Book in the NYC!

Do you live in a bad neighborhood where there are gangs, money, drugs, violence, sex, lies, and betrayal? Well, that's where Gena lives in Philly. Living in the projects in Philly for her is like living in hell. But getting out of Philly projects was easy. What she wanted is to have a man of her own. She wants the kind that loves her, has money, and is a player. When she meets a man named Quadir, he was the man of life, the hustler. Quadir be selling drugs on the street and earns his money to make a living. What Gena doesn't know is what Quadir might be hiding from her.
True to the Game describes how Gena and Quadir meet and how problems meet them. Gena has been living a tough life for years. The only family she trusts is Gah Git who is Gena's grandmother. She tries to help her with her problems including her boyfriend Jamal. When Gena leaves and doesn't see Jamal, he hits her because he thinks he owns her. Jamal had some bad past relationships and that's why he treats Gena like crap even though it's wrong. She eventually breaks up with him. When Gena first met Quadir, she couldn't stop blushing, just how Quadir couldn't stop looking at Gena. Trust me; they can have their moments to be very freaky if you know what I mean.
Also, this book has a gang who are the notorious Junior Mafia. Jerrell Jackson is the leader of the gang. His main goal is to sell drugs, get money, and to get Quadir out of the game and be on top of the drug empire. Well guess what, it ain't easy.
As I read this book, I felt a mix of emotions. I was really happy when Gena broke up with Jamal because if I was Gena and he touched me, I would have got my friends and jumped him. No lie. Also, when Gena wrote a sexual poem to Quadir, it gave me a sort of awww/happy/sad kind of emotion because it touched my heart. This book may have some informal language and some uncensored reading passages, but it overall gives an exquisite story. I give it five stars.
Summary of True to the Game
It's the late 1980s, and Gena, a young girl from the projects, meets Quadir, a millionaire drug dealer, and falls madly in love. Quadir builds a massive empire while fighting his rivals and enemies. Gena faces the challenges of holding onto her man, her house, her car, and the cash. Both of them find themselves caught up in a vicious yet seductive world, and learn that success in this game is no easy win. Gena and Quadir also learnthat once you're in, there's no way out, 'cause everyone stays in forever....True.
