This text is truly helpful and enlightening. It causes the reader to really take a close look at the "baggage" they walk around with everyday thinking they are doing just fine. Often you pick up stuff in life that you don't even need to be carrying and then find yourself flustered because you don't have the time or the room on your schedule to do the stuff God really desires of you. I am truly a living witness to this reality and desire deeply to find my way out of this crazy cycle. Once again, Max Lucado has touched a hidden nerve, unmasked a hidden onion skin on the surface of what I keep fooling myself to believe is a normal and balanced life. Thanks Max! Reader, please be aware that you won't close this book the way you were when you first read the opening page. If you read and really allow God to move through your life with the study guide that is included, you'll truly see the freedom in life that once appeared to be somebody else's pipe dream.
