Book Review: One star for getting me to page 100

Thank goodness I got this book at the library. I'm so tired of buying "paranormal romances" based on peoples' stellar reviews just to discover they are all the same cheesy mess. I keep picking these books up in the hope of getting the same thrill I got with the first 10 Anita Blake books, but, alas, I think it is hopeless.
I would have to agree with many of the other reviewers who gave low ratings. There is nothing new or different about this book. I also can't stand all these books that have men with ridiculously long hair. I gave it to page 100, and I really didn't care what was going on, and I didn't like that the heroine had fond feelings for more than one of the "attractive" males. I think this gives the reader mixed signals about who the love interest is going to be. I believe this is the downturn of most of these paranormal romances especially the Anita Blake books. If the heroine is attracted to someone - maybe for a moment - they will be having sex with them - maybe not right away but at some point.
