Book Review: I laughed and Cried! Great book

This book was fantastic. I usually am disappointed when I read biographies these days. The authors these days are so self involved and they tend to drone on about crap that no one is really interested in. Most of their stories are just filler around 1 or 2 interesting revelations. This book does not follow suit. Artie takes you through his career through a plethora of wonderful stories. Each story is either laugh out loud hilarious or a real honest tear jerker. Huge kudos to Artie for writing such an entertaining and emotion inducing book.Book Review: Mr. Lange

I am a huge Stern fan. When Artie joined I was very skeptical. He has turned out to be the best part of the show. I bought the book knowing I would of most likely heard a lot of the stories. To my suprise I have and love this book as much as him on the show. It has made mae cry and laugh out loud. It is a touching tribute to his family. Artie is the kind of guy you just want to root for. Stern fan or not people will love this book because Artie is a regular guy with a great sense of self deprecating humor. Love ya Review: Can't Wait for Book 2Summary: 5 Stars This book delivers! I anticipated it and it delivered MORE than I expected. The stories are non-stop and held my interest. I couldn't put the book down--stories are hilarious and many are touching--either way, this book is a home run. It's been a long time since I had this much fun reading a book. I would recommend this book to many different types of people. His honesty is refreshing and I will buy several more copies as gifts. I will be keeping my copy. (per Artie's directions at the end). then you will love this book. I feel like I've heard these stories before but a lot of Artie's stories sound similar. It must be heart wrenching for his mother and sister to read. I can't imagine having a loved one who is so hell-bent on self destruction. Only Artie can help himself -- and he has to come to terms with his problems and there's whole lot more to that than just admitting them and joking about them. I loved the book but have to say that I feel like it is a prelude to an obit. Let's hope that is not the case.Book Review: It will make you laugh and break your heart.

All I can say is Artie needs to figure out what the hell is so bad in his life that he wants to numb himself constantly with alcohol, drugs. His life without the substances, with all of his money and success could be so good if he could just stay away from the H and the booze, and opiates.
Oh, and the constant eating. Read this book, if you are a fan of the Howard Stern show, and you want to put all the pieces together about all of the events that are talked about by Artie on the show.
