Book Reviews of Too Fat to FishBook Review: Great and Inspiring Summary: 5 Stars
Artie Lange is a great comedian, and although I'm not an avid listener of the Howard Stern show, I can see why Howard considers him to be a great comedic mind. Every story in this book isn't just funny, it allows you to delve into the mind of Artie, and kind of allows the reader to understand why he is who he is.
I would and have recommended this book to everyone I know. This book doesn't just make you laugh out loud (which for me is very hard to do), it makes you empathize for him, and wish nothing but great health, and well wishes throughout his life. I hope you all enjoy.
Book Review: Pure Genius Summary: 5 Stars
If you are a fan of the Howard Stern Show you already know some of the blemishes of Artie Lange. He is a over eating, drug addicted, alcoholic, gambler that Stern fans have grown to love. This book lays it all out there on the table and for this I commend the great Artie Lange. If you like sugar coated, tell all (only what you want people to know about you) books then this book is not for you. This book lets it all hang out and it was so entertaining that I could not put it down. A great insightful look into a man that after reading this book, quite frankly it might scare you.
Book Review: BETTER THAN EXPECTED!! Summary: 5 Stars
HOMERUN!! I knew this book would be good, but not this good!! Artie is the best!! He did a great job on the book, I don't have one complaint about anything in this book! The book gives you a feeling that makes you have a better understanding of what kind of man Artie is and his life adventure that has created the man that he is today!! Not to many books out there where after you are done reading it, you feel like you have been friends w/ this guy forever, he takes you inside of his most tragic events of his life and lets you celebrate his accomplishments!! Love this book!!
Book Review: It's worth reading Summary: 5 Stars
If you are a Howard Stern Show fan, you will know much of what is in the book already. However, the book did reveal a greater insight of how sad and out of control Artie's life and addictions really are. His addictions go all the way back to when he was just an Average Joe loser-in-life guy. The truth is that Artie is a talented guy who can't wait to self-destruct no matter how great his life could be without drugs. The book is totally worth reading. And, the writing style is exactly how Artie talks on the Stern Show, so there is no doubt that he wrote this book himself.
Book Review: He's reading it Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my husband who in 11 yrs of marriage had never read a book.
I am an avid reader so over the years I have purchased several books for my husband trying to get him interested in reading. He never read more than a chapter in each book. I bought this one because he loves Howard Stern (god help us) & thought he might be interested. He's actually reading it. I asked him about it & he said it's quite interesting.
So, even though I'm not reading it I give it 5 stars because anything that gets him reading must be great.
