Book Reviews of Too Big for Diapers (Sesame Street) (Sesame Steps)

Book Review: Great tool for Potty Training
Summary: 5 Stars

A week after reading this book every night to my son, he finaly went to the potty. I have been training him for months now but never bought him a book featuring his favorite characters going to the potty. This is a great way to really motivate them. I read it to him with much excitement and he loved it. I would recommend it to any parent who is potty training their toddler. Remember to be very patient and good things will happen.

Book Review: GREAT potty book!
Summary: 5 Stars

Well worth the few dollars. Our 26-month-old daughter loves this book and giggles every time we read about toilet paper ("Don't take too much Ernie") It has been a helpful and fun tool for her now complete potty training. I'm able to say "Does Ernie have dry pants?" as a reminder that she should keep her pants dry. My one regret is that it's Ernie and not her favorite, Elmo... but then again, Elmo doesn't wear clothes...

Book Review: Insightful
Summary: 5 Stars

This book helped me realize that it was time for me to move onto the next stage. Ernie provides guidance on making the transition, and his manner is coaxing, not agressive. For too long I've used the crutch of diapers, but Ernie helped me realize that I don't need to fear the unknown. He made the transition fun and enjoyable. At 34, I'm now a big boy too, and my mother is so proud of me.

Book Review: Great Book
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is short and straight to the point. It helped as a reminder or refresher book as my son had occasional "accidents" because he did not want to stop playing. The book reminds children that they are big now and that they can stop playing to go "potty" and that their toys will be there when they get back. The book is not too long or overwhelming which keeps it simple.

Book Review: It is what it is, a great kid's book!
Summary: 5 Stars

I don't understand why people expect books to potty train their children. This is a children's book. I had already introduced my daughter to the potty and the toilet. She doesn't go in either, but she is more comfortable being on it with this book, especially if she "reads" it while on the potty. I loved the fact that this book has photos and not drawings.
