What a refreshing book! "TONY SOPRANO ON MANAGEMENT" gives new meaning to the term "wise guys." For it is truly a wise book. It cuts through the you-know-what, and comes through with some smart lessons for anyone in the workplace who wants to do better. It's clear and to the point, totally free from the jargon that usually characterizes management guides.The book's lessons range from quick tips -- "Practice saying no," "make friends of your co-workers" --- to profound, even philosophical thought. And the book is well researched. There are ample examples from proven leaders in real-life business -- the Tony Soprano lessons are only half the story. I found it fun to read the incidents and anecdotes taken from the show. They made the business lessons easier to grasp, and easier to remember.
