Book Review: Banana Split much?
Summary: 3 Stars
This book was split in two parts. The biggest part being the main story "To Love A Cowboy". I don't have much to say about it because it was too familiar of J.L. Langley's Broken H for me to really enjoy it. Ranch owner's son in love with the foreman since he was a kid, the foreman thought he was too old for him, misunderstanding happen, the kid goes away, comes back a couple of years later, still in love and seduces back the foreman. Our bottom boy was a huge slut in this and he had fun making the foreman jealous by flaunting his conquests in his face.
The second part of the book is the western story called "Justice" about three gay brothers coming to a town in search of vengeance for their parents' murder. The town is everything they didn't expect, full of gay men and very accepting of them. Instead of the revenge they sought, they instead each find a place they could easily call home in this small town. That is, until one of them is found bleeding and shot. Will Justice be served and will they finally be able to move on?
The youngest brother was the less interesting, mostly because he hooks up with the tavern owner and his brothel owner boyfriend....Personally don't like threesome and the couple already makes it clear that they're just playing with the brother and they only love each other. Much drama with the brothel owner too. But I pity the guy that's the apparent third wheel.
The middle brother was okay. Nothing much to say besides that since it's a short story everything happens very fast.
The eldest was my favorite~ He's pretty stubborn and so he ran from his potential love interest for a long long time. While he saw his younger brothers settling down and getting happy he refused to do the same until his parents could rest in peace.
