Dit is echt een geweldig boek. Je leest het in 1 adem uit. Z'n hele carriere-loop wordt duidelijk weergegeven en er staan ook leuke anecdotes in. Verder worden er heel veel mooie foto's weergegeven. Een aanrader voor de echte fan die alles wil weten over Meat Loaf. (dit boek is o.a. te koop bij "The American Book store" in Amsterdam)Book Review: I'll love it forever!

A wonderful book that truly has a light shining through every page, being his endless striving for goodness and achievement... that incidentally is inside him all the time. Well written and entertaining at the same time as very sincere and courageously showing his vulnerable sides. It has been said before and I must say it again, very easy to read. Written like one of his many songs. Very informative. I went into reading it knowing a little about him and came out of it knowing a lot more. The gaps are filled, and now I have yet to wonder only one thing. In another twenty years or so will he come out with another book,Book Review: A rock 'n' roller coaster!

Meat Loaf is like the Forrest Gump of rock. It's hilarious how he stumbles into fame, accidentally bumps into everyone from Charles Manson to Cher to Joe Cocker to Robert DeNiro to Armand Coullet, then has all his success taken away, then wins it all back--just by being his own goofy, goodnatured self.
