Book Review: If only we could clone Greg Mortensen--read this book!!!

This is a story all of us need to read. From Greg getting lost to being abducted by the Taliban we learn of a world much different from our own that may well have something for us to learn from.
Greg recalls his travails from his failed attept to climb K-2 to the problems encountered while trying to keep his promise to build a school and more schools.
Greg is the American all of us would wish to be if we only could.
It takes a great deal of humility to not only admit one's errors and hubris, but to learn and grow from them. That is what Greg does as he shares his adventures with us. It opens up a new world for both him and the reader.
There are times the writing could be better, a few places that it drags a bit, but don't put this book down until you finish it.You will find it worthwhile to continue.If there were more Greg Mortensens the Taliban would not have made a resurgence. We have a great deal to learn from idigenous peoples and Greg opens up that world to us.
