This book has been an amazing resource for understanding how to manage type 1 diabetes. I think it should be handed to everyone immediately upon diagnosis! My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 6 months ago, and I wish I'd had this book from the start. Gary Scheiner explains things in a very practical and logical way, and has provided many insights that help with day-to-day issues. If you don't have this book yet, do yourself a favor and buy it now!
