I read this book in three <<ahem!>> sittings. Who woulda thought that a list (albeit, an immaculately curated list) of life's many inconveniences could be so engrossing... and thigh numbing (Mr. Kaplan forgot to include "pins and needles" on his list but i forgive him). This book is a must have for your lavatory library!Book Review: this book does not suck!

I am a sucker for list books but this one is my FAVORITE. everything is so spot-on, and the perfect counter balance to the happy-go-lucky-make-you-want-to-barf "things that are great" books. what is really great is, and makes me really happy, is finding other people in the world to commiserate about all the things that suck!Book Review: Awesome

Are you freakin kidding me with this book?? So damn funny. Flip it open to any page and you'll be psyched you did, but I recommend reading it cover to cover to appreciate the rhythm of the thing. Great gift book; I bought a bunch to give out as party favors for a girls weekend away and it was a big hit.Book Review: What can I say? I laughed out loud, too!

True, this has "bathroom reading" written all over it, but I spend a lot of my life in that room! Kaplan's knack for spooling off a list of similar frustrations--and then jumping to a radically different--but equally annoying--apsect of life is what repeatedly brought a smile to my face. Favorite find this year!! Pass it along to those you love and those who do some of the sucky things in this book. It covers EVERYTHING and anything (panty crickets!) you may have thought of.... Or not thought of! So far it's an impossible challenge to find something to add to the list!
