Recently I drove a long distance most pleasantly and thoughtfully because I was listening to the audio recording of "Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself." I arrived home and promptly ordered the book from amazon.com for one of my kids. I found the combination of Alan Alda's generous humor and philosophical arguments satisfying and compelling. Honesty and intelligence resounds in this small book.
