Book Review: Great Read!
Summary: 5 Stars
This guy is gifted. I so enjoyed this work that I just had to add my comment. A little slow at first, it grabbed me around page 80 and I simple could not put it down. I had just read a James Patterson novel over a period of two weeks (I read at night before going to sleep). Then I began this book and I never turned the light off. Going from Patterson to Coben was like going from a DC Marvel comic book to Hemingway. At least it seemed that way to me.Book Review: I could not put it down

I got this novel yesterday morning and started reading it around 2 in the afternoon. At 1:30 AM my wife was begging me to turn off the light so she could sleep - but I had 50 pages left to go! I finished it a bit later... "Honey, the longer you disrupt my reading, the longer it is going to take for me to finish"!
Was the book flawless, no - but it was good read, full of surprises and had a great ending... I really enjoyed it!

The Woods kept me reading until late at night. Coben is a great writer and has put together a suspenseful novel. The story gets complex and is certainly asking readers to expand their parameters of realistic story lines, but it is entertaining reading and keeps it thick until the end.
I don't think fans of Coben's will be disappointed at all. Those new to Coben will be glad to have found a new writer to catch up on.

The plot centers on a New Jersey county prosecutor, Paul Copeland, and the murder, 20 years ago, of his sister. Mr. Coben is the master of the plot twist and this one does not disappoint. I am not an avid reader. This is the first book I've read in a LONG time, given I am a super busy mother of two; still, the book has helped me come to the decision that I need to start reading more. I couldn't put it down. I immediately went online and bought 6 more of Harlen Coben books along with a few others.
Amazing plot, amazing book!!!
